Jescia Hoffman Hopper: Wonderlust

Wonderlust is an immersive experience: a mixed media installation intended to take the viewer on a trip through the imagination and back to the childhood realm of impossible worlds. Hopper began building enveloping physical spaces as a way to push herself out of her comfort zone as a painter. The structures serve as an escape from the apocalyptic scenes of her watercolor paintings, which are reactions against political vitriol and the stresses of adulthood.
